The Luhr Jensen Hot Shot came to market many years ago, and Steelhead fishing would never be the same. The term “Hot Shotting” was the original lingo for “back-trolling”, and from those early days, it has become one of the key techniques for catching Steelhead and Salmon from a boat. Hot Shot 30 plugs can be back-trolled, fished on anchor, or even plunked from the shore. The diving bill and tight wiggling action makes it a very effective lure in our Pacific Northwest rivers.
