Krippled Herring Helmets are a must-have bait head for salmon trollers. They are best used with Green and Blue label herring that are between 4″ to 6″. The helmet secures the head of the Herring and allowed for extended life of the bait when trolling with flashers. Simply thread your leader throught the helmet leader hole place the head of the baitfish in the helmet, secure with pin and place the top hook in the bait and you are fishing!
