When you drop the motorcycle with a stock vent tube, fuel might drain out of the tank through the line. The one-way valve of the Rolling Mavericks Long Fuel Tank Vent Tube prevents this. The valve lets air in but prevents fuel from gushing out of the tank.
Tip: the hose diameter may seem too small to fit the little pipe on your gas cap. Heat the end of the vent tube or stick it in hot water to soften the plastic. It will be much easier to fit and give you a better seal.
