Northwest based Pautzke Bait Co. – known worldwide for our “Balls O’ Fire” eggs – continues a more than 75-year long tradition of providing premium eggs, cures, scents and attractants to trout, salmon, and steelhead anglers by introducing BorX O’ Fire™, another one of our oldest egg curing recipes. Most effective for curing salmon & steelhead eggs, BorX O’ Fire™ combines our world-renowned knowledge in egg science with a multi colored lineup and our newest secret seasonings found in our revolutionary Krill formula.

Curing Directions
For best results: cut skeins in half, then into 1 to 3-inch pieces. Or, if you have loose eggs to be used with spawn sacks, simply place pieces into a zip-lock bag or a container that can be sealed. Generously sprinkle/pour BorX O’ Fire™ into container or zip lock bag, covering the skeins. Keep in mind, the more BorX O’ Fire™ you use, the drier your eggs will become. We recommend using BorX O’ Fire™ sparingly at first until you become familiar with it. You can always go back and add more if necessary.

Important
To end with a good egg, you must start with a good egg.
• Bleed fish immediately.
• Don’t let water touch your eggs.
• Wrap fresh eggs in paper towels, place them in a plastic bag in your cooler and cure within 24-36 hours.
