PHIL WOOD bottom brackets are wonderful, long-lasting, historical, even legendary. Sealed cartridge bearings, laterally adjustable, and if and when yours craps out, you can send it back to Phil for a fast and friendly overhaul.
To install or remove, you need the Phil retaining rings (use British, which fits American and Japanese and Taiwanese and Chinese bikes) and a special Phil BB tool.
Various lengths. On bikes with mountain front derailers, get a 113mm spindle; on bikes with roadish front derailers, get the 108. The 111mm one…we don’t use it for anything here, but if your crank requires it, we’ve got you covered. We stock and can get other lengths, so ask… Made 62 miles (99.8 km) south of us.

All the Phil bb’s we stock got a JIS taper, are symmetrically spaced, and work in both 68mm and 73mm bb shells.
